Radioactive Decontamination

• IMPACT Services provides a wide range of decontamination services for a variety of materials such as concrete, lead, and metal, and equipment such as vehicles and nuclear outage equipment.
• Upon completion of decontamination, IMPACT provides a certificate of unconditional release for beneficial reuse.  Items can be returned to the customer, or IMPACT will work with third-party vendors and suppliers to arrange return.
• IMPACT offers free release per REG Guide 1.86 for many materials and equipment.
• IMPACT offers standard pricing for decontamination and free release of intermodal and sealand containers.
• Hourly rates are available for decontamination of equipment such as dump trucks, pumps, motors, tents, and other large and small machinery.
• IMPACT works with customers to provide decontamination and release services that meet customers budgets and predetermined guidelines, and will work with customers to evaluate the benefits and costs of our services.
• Multiple disposal paths, including Bulk Survey for Release, are available for materials and equipment that are unable to be decontaminated, or are found to be too costly to decontaminate.
