IMPACT Services, Inc. Announces Reactive Metal Processing at our Heritage Center Processing Facility

IMPACT Services, Inc. has recently been awarded contracts for disposition of packages containing radioactively contaminated sodium metal and associated oxidation products.  IMPACT will recycle sodium metal and sodium-wetted debris at our Heritage Center Processing Facility in Oak Ridge, TN, utilizing treatment technologies capable of making the material compliant for beneficial reuse and debris for land disposal.  IMPACT will ensure that treated material meets all disposal standards and is acceptable for land disposal at appropriate disposal sites.
